PGT TET Assam 2014 exam date, eligibility criteria online Application and syllabus

After lots of speculation, doubts and rumours PGT TET in Assam is finally declared by  Minister or Education and Health Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma. The Announcement  came a few days back via Twitter about the proposed PGT TET.  Although it is quite a good news, the exam date itself in the 3rd week of January and TET PGt qualification does not ensure one a job is a dampener! Anyways As our expecting candidates who have been frantically searching for PG TET news this announcement is no short of  a breather.

PGT TET Assam online application procedure through  Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan Assam.


PGT TET application procedure will be an online application procedure. The PGT TE advertisement appeared in the Rastriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan Assam. Interested candidate may view the advertisement here http://www.rmsaassam.in/pdf/Adv_HS%20TET%20_2013.pdf.

Points to remember before filling online application
* For online application procedure candidates should first download the instruction manual and read it completely.
*Keep passport size photo and signature in JPEG format ready as per instructed.
* E-challan of of Rs 400/ is mandatory.
*Only online application is accepted.

Online Application procedure is opened from 01.01.2014 itself.

Eligibility criteria:
*Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
*Must not exceed 38 years of Age. (Relaxation applicable).
* Candidates must have secured 50% marks in their MA/M.Sc/MCom exam. No other qualification/diploma will be acceptable.
* To become eligible for PGT TET exam no rounding up of marks will be accepted. This means Minimum 50% marks is a must.
*B.Ed or B.T is a must.(Relaxation applicable in certain cases)
*ST/SC/

Syllabus for PGT TET Exam

The exam will be ojective type. There will be two papers, Paper I and II. Both papers will be MCQ type(Multiple choice Question). OMR sheets will be provided.
Paper I will be General Studies. And there will be three options in Paper II. Science, Commerce and General(Arts Stream).Please visit the official website of RMSM to get accurate syllabus.
